About Belfast

Belfast is the capital city of Northern Ireland. It is the undiscovered part of Ireland and a UK capital city at the same time. It is a very compact city that has gone through an impressive transformation in the latest years.

The dynamic spirit that built the Titanic in Belfast more than 100 years ago is reborn today with the opening of Titanic Belfast, an exciting new conference venue on the waterfront that boasts the largest dedicated gala dinner space in the city. Built on the original site where Titanic was built, the new iconic building symbolises 'a new Belfast' in the heart of the Titanic Quarter, Europe's largest waterfront regeneration scheme.

It’s packed with history, culture, exciting events, great food… you might even spot a ship or two. You’ll also find some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet.
