EPUAP and 3M IAD and Pressure Ulcer Innovation Awards

Incontinence- Associated Dermatitis (IAD) is one of the most common skin problems in adults who are incontinent. There is a growing body of evidence that provides insight into the definition, epidemiology, pathophysiology, and management of IAD. Clinical research indicates the association between IAD and pressure ulcer development. IAD as a skin disorder seems to be more and more accepted in clinical practice and research worldwide, as indicated by an increasing number of studies in this domain. The EPUAP IAD Innovation Award aims to recognize and acknowledge the most innovative work in the field of IAD prevention and treatment.
